Bulls, Dragons to Clash Friday

Summary

After losing two straight, Allderdice put the ball in its outstanding running backs' hands and let them carry the dragons to victory. Joe Short picked up 209 yards on just 12 carries and scored three touchdowns, while running mate Robere King had 203 yards on just nine carries and one touchdown. Anthony Irvin scored two touchdowns, one on a fumble recovery in the end zone.

The defensive unit scored twice on a fumble recovery by Greg Blair, and Deandre Kane returned an interception for a touchdown. Jerome Matthews had two touchdowns, one rushing and one receiving while rushing for 86 yards on six carries. Blair also had a touchdown run, and Kane had a touchdown pass. Jeremy Hawkins, the Spartans top rusher, only had 33 yards on just five carries.

In the battle of the North Side, the Oliver Bears upset the ever-declining Perry Commodores, 14-13.
