"This is a call to action to the people of this region to give of themselves and their time to help ensure a brighter future for someone who wants and needs help," said Douglas J. Mac Phail, chairman of The Mentoring Partnership's Board of Directors. "Most of us, somewhere along the way, whether it was a parent, a teacher or a friend, received invaluable guidance from somebody who took an interest in our lives because they wanted to see us become happy and productive members of our community. We're asking for people to return the favor - and, at the end of day, the entire community will be better for it."
