Summary


[Kayla Knapp], who has applied to Brown University's International Policy Program and plans to pursue an Ivy League degree, had the best slogan. Her business plan was for Kayla's Tutoring, which offers tutoring and test preparation services to middle school-aged students in the Crafton/Ingram area. Despite her slogan, "An easy way to get an A," Knapp took the third place award of $1,000.

"This is by far the best program I've been involved with. I recommend it to everyone," he said, adding that his prize-winning venture is "just the first of many businesses."

She thanked NFTE for helping her live her dream. At that, NTTE Pittsburgh Executive Director Gary Cczewith reminded the audience that entrepreneurs are dreamers-but they are "dreamers that do."
