The minister now began to discuss his close relationship with [Michael Jackson] and told those of us in attendance about a side of Michael that I don't believe any of us were aware of. Farrafchan explained to us how similar Michael's life was in comparison to millions of other Blacks in America. Before you laugh, Michael went through three stages, Black youth, sought to assimilate, but then made the choice to come back to his roots. Parrakhan went on to recite the words from Michael's CD that clearly demonstrated that Michael had made a conscious decision to come home by recording "They Don't Care About Us." If you never heard it I strongly suggest you buy it.
