Summary


With scenes like Jazzy, Cool Like That, Summer Breeze and It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got that Swing, the Martin Luther King Reading and Cultural Center hosted their 17th Annual Fashion Show and Luncheon at the Holiday Inn North Hills on April 8.

"The volunteer efforts of the models and those that have contributed their time and efforts for the center should be proud of this accomplishment," says Yvonne Addison, President, Friends of the MLK, Jr. Reading and Cultural Center.

Walking the catwalk for MLK were: the Honorable Wrenna Watson, the Honorable Jack Simmons, the Honorable Oscar Petite, LaMont Jones Jr., Betty Lynn Maxwell, Marsha Charlie, Stephanie Bloom, Deborah Stevens, Lauren Harwell, Betsy Hunt, Monica Nixon, Vince Sims, Arthur Outen and Alex Matthews.
