"We got into garage design because minority firms weren't getting a lot of work on the big projects and garages aren't glamorous," said [Howard Graves]. "But now that garages are being thought of as 'main street' rather than secondary buildings, it does allow for more esthetics."

Graves, who said he also has a confidentiality agreement with Majestic Star owner Don Barden'g Las Vegas Architects and personal commitment from Barden to work on that project, said because the Penguins' master plan accounts for the sight lines and aesthetics of future Centre Avenue development, there are height restrictions on the garage design.
