The program for President-elect [Barack H. Obama]'s inauguration was announced Dec. 17. In announcing the lineup, Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies chair Sen. Diane Feinstein said, "It is appropriate that the program will include some of the world's most gifted artists from a wide range of backgrounds and genres."
