Summary


Isn't it sad that everyone seemed to know that [Keith Watts] was in danger, but no one could protect him? He was the target of a drive-by shooting only a couple of weeks earlier, and he was asked to leave his previous school because it was determined that his presence would put the rest of the students in danger. Too bad Carrick students weren't afforded the same protection.

Isn't it sad that police were finding it hard to gather information about the shooting because of some nutty "code" that won't allow cooperating with the po-po?

We can't afford to let the cycle of violence continue to another generation. We can't afford to have it shatter another family. We can't afford to have more young people think that there is nothing better than turf to live for, or die for, or kill for.
