Schenley Seeks Fifth Straight Boys Title

Summary


[Brashear] earned its berth in the championship game with a 63-52 victory over Perry, Feb. 15 at Allderdice. Behind a balanced attack, the Bulls outscored Perry 19-6 in the second quarter to take control of the game. Led by Ed Tinker's 16 points, four players scored in double figures. John Wetzel, Ian Reynolds and Quamane Bryant had 14, 12, and 10 points.

Even though Schenley has defeated Brashear twice, the Bulls came within three points of upsetting the Spartans in their last meeting, 8784. If any team can upset them it's Brashear with their strong defense and balanced attack led by Tinker, Wetzel and Bryant.
