The original indictment alleged that on April 15, 2002, while executing an arrest warrant in conjunction with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, [Rankin] police seized $5,855 from a safe in the house of a Rankin resident. The indictment accuses [Darryll L. Briston] of stealing the money and refusing to return it to the resident.
